Based on the studies conducted in National Institute of Hydrology, publications are being brought out in the form of technical reports, technical notes, project reports and case studies. These publications are being widely circulated free of cost to various State and Central Government organisations as a part of Institute's Technology Transfer Programme. The Scientists of the Institute have also contributed a large number of  publications on Ganga Basin.

The Institute has organised a National Seminar on "R & D perspective for Rejuvenation of River Ganga" during December 16 -17, 2015 at Roorkee in which a large number of professionals from various parts of the country attended and presented papers.
